Matthew 26:34 says, “…Verily I say unto thee, that this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.” But Mark 14:30 says, “…Verily I say unto thee, that this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice.” Is there a contradiction?

However, we also read, “And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven” (2 Kings 2:11). Is there a contradiction?

Does God tempt man or not? Genesis 22:1 reads, “And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham.” However, James 1:13 says, “Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted by God; for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.” Is there a contradiction?
